Leaving This Corporate Life Behind

Earlier today, my resignation letter was sent. One I wrote two weeks earlier and scheduled to be delivered at 8 AM on 1 April 2026.

It’s 9:50 AM when I wrote this first post on a wordpress blog that I setup just 2 hours earlier before I left home to take my kids to their psychological assessment. I am sitting here waiting for our poke bowl breakfast, or brunch, to be served.

I’m currently one of regional directors in IT department, in a multinational FMCG company with 100+ years of history, reporting directly to a global VP based in London and handsomely paid that I can save 70% of my salary every month. The position is at seniority level that mandated a 90 days notice making my last working day to be 30 June 2026.

So, why am I leaving?
